What makes a useful message
You don’t need measurements or a finished plan. A few honest details about the room are enough to start.
A
The room
Is it a main bathroom, an ensuite or a laundry? Tell us its rough size, whether it’s upstairs or on a slab, and whether it’s the only bathroom in the house. Also mention anything you want to keep, like a bath, a window or the vanity position.
B
The symptoms
If water is involved, say where it shows up: swollen skirting, a stained ceiling below, drummy or lifting tiles, cracked grout or mould on the other side of the wall. Mention whether it happens every shower or only sometimes. If you have photos of the damage, say so in your message.
C
The plan
What would you change? A walk-in shower instead of a shower over the bath, a wall-hung vanity, or large-format tiles. Mention any selections you’ve already made and whether you’re open to moving plumbing. Our renovation checklist can help you sort your thoughts first.
